Dawn has proven herself to be a casting queen, sourcing colourful, diverse story-driven contributors to take part as gameshow contestants, surprises and talented performers. Social media trawling, getting in touch with news outlets, secretly contacting friends and family and interviewing potential contributors under a ruse are all in a day’s work for casting on these big entertainment shows!

Alongside casting, Dawn has generated ideas, games and surprises for Comedy Ents shows, to ensure big laughs and exciting entertainment for viewers.

Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel has dominated Saturday nights with this celebrity spinning gameshow.

Dawn cast the contestants for this show - including Rich and Kamal, who can be seen if you click the logo above - and produced contestants on the day to ensure they had the best energy and reactions.

Amongst casting other contestants for some fun games, Dawn cast a deserving contributor for the surprise of a lifetime, by contacting someone who had set up a charity during the pandemic for people struggling with their mental health.

Michael McIntyre’s Big Show features big laughs, big games and big surprises.

Dawn cast talented singers for The Unexpected Star of the Show (click the logo to see Ciara who Dawn found from a newspaper article from Belfast!).

She also cast contributors, meeting them under a ruse for other surprises, working undercover for the surprise karaoke segments Kylie-oke and Gary-oke, and working with unsuspecting sleepers’ partners for The Midnight Gameshow.

Mrs Brown opened the doors to her house for a Saturday night entertainment show in which she and the family were joined by celebrity guests in All Round to Mrs Brown’s.

Dawn cast contributors for the Mammies of the week, people for the confessional, and fans of everyone’s favourite Mammy.

Dawn was part of the regional casting team for the 10th series of Britain’s Got Talent.

This role involved setting up local talent auditions through, finding individual talents, characters and contestants with interesting and emotional backstories; travelling across the UK and filming auditions with an XDCam, cutting together interviews and performances.

Contestants were found from news articles, local talent competitions, and through working with different local communities to set up auditions.

Working on the 12th series of the reality singing competition The X Factor, Dawn was responsible for interviewing potential contestants and writing biogs for the contestants, looking after, producing contestants being filmed at auditions and conducting the post-performance interviews.

This would also involved going for recces under a ruse to interview potential surprisees.
